Does anyone have experience some serious battery draining using cutetube-qml? I use it only when I'm on my house because when I play 3 or 4 videos I have to be ready to say goodbay to 20% of battery, and I can not do that when I'm on the go because I will be risking to drain the battery in a couple of hours. Is that normal? I have experience that from the first release of cutetube-qml and I thought that was something that in time will be fixed but... Any of you experiencing that problem?

I don't know if I lose that amount of battery when playing videos, but it makes a huge drain, that's for sure. I just use it when it comes necessary to me. But I think I get quite a high drain whenever I use a Qt application. If it play videos, like this, the drain is higher, of course. It must be because Qt requires more CPU power and/or time. Therefore, more battery drain.

Streaming video via wifi will drain your battery. It will be even worse if you are using 3g.

marxian. What happened to the symbian version?
There are many crapy youtube programs being sold on Nokia store. You could charge up to ten dollars and it would still be fair considering the quality of the competition

720p from YT is too much for the DSP. 480p plays fine :-)

I'm hoping to submit the Symbian version (using Qt Components) to the Nokia Store within the next few days.

The 720p videos won't play on the N950 either. Let's hope the N9 does better.

I have cuteTube-QML version 1.1.1 and Xtube version 0.4.1-2 and those options no longer work. I cant seem to find any other current information on the search options available.
