The N9 16GB I saw in the Nokia employees hands was also Meego 1.2

I think the one's you saw weren't recently upgraded.

Yes i think you are right but why was the 64gb version with 1.2 on it slower in comparison to the 16's?.

I noticed a slight lag when waiting for the about information to be displayed, more so on the 64gb versions.

I did not play with the media player, i will go back now to get more information especially the software version numbers.
