In Microb, I use this usually to download Youtube videos with that javascript thingy I posted and also a few other sites, but anyway, is it possible to disable the progress bar?

It makes me nervous how it constantly keeps closing and opening on most web pages. I'd rather not have it do anything to be honest.

    Cheers again.

Wouldn't the same userscript work in Tear so you don't need MicroB at all?

I only have Opera and MicroB so I can't test it.

^ Tear has some slight problems with downloads.

It usually doesn't name the files correctly so you have to usually type them all out by hand.

We are talking about the toolbar on the bottom, right?

You can disable it under the View menu item, and you can disable "automatic redirection" under Settings.

If that doesn't help, it is a Mozilla browser so if you Google "Firefox disable toolbar" then you may be able to fix it through about:config.

I would like not to disable the whole toolbar since that is where you need to type in a web address.

But yeah, the one feature on the right side of it that always seems to say Connecting, Loading xx/xx, then closing, then back to Connecting again, etc., it's a real headache for me to keep watching like this anymore. *lol*

I'll Google and see if there's something in about:config that I can change.

Anyone have a guess as to what that part on the toolbar in Microb is even called? Progress something maybe?

So far I'm coming up all empty on this.

the only reference to doing this is at: (granted it is not a microb reference, but might give you some ideas?)
    http://caminobrowser.org/documentati...#HideStatusBar

apparently this is one of the few browser elements not able to be changed with about:config.

What would be the command as root to give all the permissions to the files in
    /usr/share/xkbd/img/
    1000?

In Emelfm2, there's not an option for this in the drag down window unless the file already has such a 1000 permission.

    I don't understand your question.
1000 is the owner's user id of such files (which is not mapped to a name in maemo), not the permissions. Permissions are rw-r--r-- (0644)
What do you want to do?
Change ownership? to whom? To user=root group=root: "chown root.root *"
    Change permissions? to what?
