Well, the upload has finished. Dunno what kind of download rates you'll get, but here's a zipped up binary for the N800. Good luck.

Do you know how many people in the world own Nokia cellphones and go to their pages downloading software and firmware updates ?
Or how many people download stuff from Microsoft or Apple ( updates ).. the list is long.

Nokia.com should be really able to handle this load and even more.

Is there any chance of someone uploading the N810 binary somewhere? Nokia don't seem to be interested in providing a decent update service after all.

No, Nokia should have more resources online, they know the number of tablets they have sold and that there would be a bum rush to their servers.

If it was "no capability whatsoever" then no one would be downloading anything.

But to be realistic, yes, server capacity has GOT to increase.

Started downloading, only 24 hours to go, wait it is now showing infinity.

Good job Nokia didn't sell many of these devices. Imagine how bad it would be if they were actually popular.

The mininova torrent posted above is going quite quick, and I'll leave it up for seeding for the rest of the day.

I see Mr Pedantic is in the house. I call 5k/sec on a file that big no capability whatsoever. It's not capability. It's taking the piss. It does really show what Nokia thinks about the tablet users. As someone said earlier you don't see the Nokia mobile phone users having these sorts of download problems.
