Brazil is shafted by the Brazilians...

We have some ridiculously high import taxes, service taxes and industrialized products taxes. On top of that, we have the greediest capitalists and the stupidest consumers in the world.

Final result: we always pay exorbitant prices for everything industrialized, even for things that are manufactured in Brazil, like cars, digital cameras and... iPhone 4's, just to give a few examples.

EDIT: By the way, Nokia is probably the top brand in Brazil when it comes to cell phones, even though Apple and Samsung (with the SGS2) have been gaining lots of market share recently.

That page has been useless since the beginning.
MNB's been keeping a "rough" tally....

Unity games announced they will be bringing their games to the N9
http://thenokiablog.com/2011/09/29/n...nity-3d-games/
Check out the video second game they incorporated numpty physics like drawing into the game, pretty cool if you ask me.
Yeah saw that the other day here

But are we really talking games of the same calibre as Infinity Blade for e.g?*
A quick scan here would suggest no, but man I'd love to be wrong.

N9's got the hardware to run games of this beauty, it just needs the right dev houses.
IB runs beautifully on my iTouch 4G, which is slightly weaker than the iP4 IIRC.

*it came out about this time last yr IIRC, but has had constant updates since.

Who makes the suction cup joystick for the iphone and can we get it for the N9?
Nice idea.

(One time, online ON THE WAY to the store using my Galaxy Tab to buy a new laptop before I even arrived at the store. BOOM... paid and done.) Inventory is tracked wonderfully on their site.
All that said, if they don't even list it, they won't have it at all anywhere.
Fair enough!
I just don't know what to suggest for you poor yanks

We're pretty much ****ed unless we don't care about warranties or don't mind paying a premium.

It's even funnier how a marketing exec/community "hero" is in the US and is unwilling to ask anybody that might have some say or ability to do a damn thing; all while asking people to support his endeavors and grant him validity to his position via this community or through their efforts.

Oh well...

Nokia Australia is no longer listing the phone as available soon and the full product support page is now online.
Appears as though release is iminent then!

I don't think shops will be able to get them in this week. But at least it's in Oz. =D
You will be surprised how quick product distribution logistics can work.
Going through customs on a Tuesday can still mean reaching stores on Thursday - but that depends on the logistics/distribution system that Nokia uses with their retailers.
I tend to agree. My guess is possibly Friday, more likely Monday.
