Agreed. I'm sure 99,99% of spammers here use ready-to-go scripts, not write their own. So, as I've advocated before, some custom modification - not to be found on vBulletin site - like "surprise" captcha on verification page, would probably break them for good.
They key thing is, if Reggie is able to do simple, but custom vBulletin modification - I *wouldn't* blame him, if he can, it requires specific knowledge. Also, if anyone is able to do so, it's most important to *not* publish it anywhere. If it is mean to be efficient, it must remain TMO specific (quite ironical, when we're talking about Open Source forum :/ )
