Maybe they will sell even more than they did of the Meego WeTab.

I warned them, but they wouldn't listen! (typical movie convo).
So now the owners of the WeTab, are a wee-bit sad.

I own a WeTab, but I really don't care too much: I installed openSUSE with Plasma Active, and it works very well.

same here. it's hardware is decent enough (and cheap nowadays), but the meego based os is better replaced with something more appropriate. it's nice and all, but no comparison to a fully featured linux - (k)ubuntu in my case.
i suspect the same will be true regarding tizen.

if tizen isn't interested in Qt then it's of little interest to me.

opensuse/plasma-active using KDE/Qt sounds like a much more appealing prospect.

Release it outside of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and France then I'll pay attention.

And make sure it's actually MeeGo/Tizen compliant. The rest, let's see what happens.

This is old news. Since Meego more or less switched name to Tizen what else should they do? Meego IS the much better name though and already in use commercially so Intel really is pissing on a lot of people that invested time and money in Meego. Very bad decision to stop using the Meego brand.

This is the company, where the CEO wrote his own reviews at Amazon.
