Hi,

The mail signature on the N900 device can only be change about the content. It's always a few --- signs and then your custom signature text in light gray.

Is there any way to customize this?
I want to get rid of the ---- chars and put text with my own wanted format.

It is not "a few --- signs". It is precisely "-- ", ie 2 hyphens and a space. This is the signature separator, email clients use it to strip the signature when doing replies etc.

can anybody tell me how to add a signature while sending an email from my n900.....

Open your account, then choose "Edit Account" from the menu and click on the "Signature" button on the bottom right (Delete, Signature, Save).

Alternatively, you may look at page 69 of your manual (RTFM, so to speak).
