I am new in this forum, so pls forgive me if I do any fouls!!
I have a nokia n900 and tried to connect to my freelander's car kit but all i can do is call and rcv calls, no phonebook or call logs available.
I've been reading re the compatibility with the two and learned that the n900 doesn't have the pbap. there were users who managed to install the petrovich and managed to send the pohonebook details to the car but I cannot do that either, can anyone help me pls, I don't want to sell my n900 as it's good but I need this function!! I've tried as well installing the .deb files in the x terminal but etting errors and other things, your help will be much appreciated

anyways, i drive the outlander (facelift, instyle blabla)
and noticed connect/disconnect/connect parties going on
between my newly aquired N9 and the car system.
(n8 worked rather flawless)

I had no chance to troubleshoot it further.. give me some weeks
and i may be able to tell more. Bear with me, i am all but a software engineer - i am a consumer betting on a dead horse out of principle and idealism
