You could copy and paste using ssh from any PC or you could redirect the output to a file
Code:
powertop > powertop.txt
and attach the file or copy and paste the content of the file. X-Terminal is not capable of copy and paste, as far as i know.

This is a file which you will find in the directory, in which you invoke powertop.
For easier finding go to MyDocs folder
Code:
cd /home/user/MyDocs
sudo gainroot
powertop > powertop.txt

There are certainly some issues with your kernel-power settings.
C# | Ratio | Avg/dura | Frequency | Ratio
--------+--------+----------+-----------+--------+
C0 | 46.7% | | 1150 MHz | nan% |
C1 | 0.3% | 0.5ms |
C2 | 28.3% | 6.0ms |
C3 | 19.8% | 174.6ms |
C4 | 4.9% | 734.8ms |
If you have 46% c0 state of 1150 MHz, there is no way other than draining the battery quickly.
PID# | Activity | Name | Function Entry (Expire)
--------+------------+----------------+---------------------------
0 | 2032 | <kernel core> | tick_nohz_restart_sched_tick (tick_sched_timer)
1896 | 393 | browserd | futex_wait (hrtimer_wakeup)
44 | 303 | mmcqd | cfq_completed_request (cfq_idle_slice_timer)
indicates the kernel is really having its own agenda, whatever that may be?!

You may post your settings for others to chip in to 'tame' your device

I don't think I've ever had powertop show anything other than 1150 for the frequency when I've had kernel-power installed and I normally run with the default profile with a max frequency of 600MHz, so that in itself isn't an issue.

Now I have to ask, did you leave the N900 with the screen blank and idling when you ran powertop? Because that is the easiest way to see if there is something active when it shouldn't be. If that was a idle reading then there is something wrong, notably high levels of DMA and memory card activity.
