That is only true for the viewer version of Documets To Go that is preinstalled on the N900.
The premium version of Documents To Go can edit Word and Excel files. I bought that version some time ago and am quite satisfied with the performance. The upgrade from the viewer version only cost $9.99, no idea if that offer is still valid. You can check it out here:
Do you/someone know does it exist for N9? I have found following comment from one page:
"N9 comes equipped with MS Office documents reader but no MS Office documents creator is available , it may get Documents to go or any other third party support." http://senseapplied.com/index.php/th...bout-nokia-n9/
(OpenOffice odt format or even rtf type of format would be enough for me for starters. I do not need to make MS Office docs.)
