Usually a broken symlink is just trash... but how was this created in the first place???
May be you tell us, what you tinkered with to get this directory at all, because there is no /dev/udev on my device. Did you test any alien systems like nitdroid or meego???

today as i play around with my n900 using filebox i have notice there a lot of broken symlink in....
dev/udev/failed....
and in some other folder....
just curious is there going to be a problem if i delete all the broken symlinks on my N900 @ i just keep the broken symlinks without have to worry about anything????
