A friend of mine wanted me to submit this idea:

Also another idea involving very simple solution to get "classic" bookmarks for the browser:

Thanks OVK for mentioning my third idea already

No problem

I like your idea of "bookmarks" also. It seems that the "no bookmarks for default browser" is a design paradigm by Nokia and it is probably not going to be changed so a workaround is definately needed (app folders that come with PR1.2 might be sufficient though).

Things that I would like to see (probably already posted to N9 IdeasProject):
-contacts for app screen
-possibility to add things to status menu (for example an applet for controlling screen brightness) and status area (cpu/mem applet etc)

I just added my little sandrock, I hope it makes a difference. I always hated the cluttered apps list on my n900. It has been always hard for me to find an application if it wasn´t at he beginning or at the very bottom.

I really hope that in the end Harmattan and the n9 benefit from the ideas the people are posting there.. To me this all sounds like "let's launch another test balloon, give it to the geeks to play with and improve our other phones by using their ideas - like we did with the n900". And yes - I also bought the n9 . I just don't want to contribute to an interface for a Windows Phone..

My Idea? Opensource fremantle, put it on the N9, get rid of the buttons in the top bar and add swipe. Perfect os.

I am not proposing anything fancy. Instead my proposal is really simple usability improvement for one handed use and easy to implement.

I'm curious if those with the phone have figured out on their own this easier way to activate notification when using just one hand. I have only heard complaints how cumbersome it is. Which is why I felt this is an important improvement despite its simplicity.
