I cancelled my Expansys order for an $800 16GB Cyan N9, so I'm not willing to pay that much. I hope someone can source me that phone from a reputable dealer for under $700 after delivery, duty, taxes, etc.

You might be in luck. I'll update you accordingly. Have two options coming up.

Still no updates on the bulk pricing for everybody else, btw. Still working that out.

Also, I'm not in any real hurry to get an N9, I just want to make sure I get one. I want Maemo's swan song, the "step 5 of 4"....

That was honestly my real reason for getting one as well. I've gone from the 770 to the N810, to the N900 and now the N9. I had a chance to own the N800, but skipped it.

Ah yes.. it's like when you go down the stairs and you think there's still another step and you fumble-step ahead. That certainly is the awkward dance people seem to be going through in trying to even OBTAIN an N9 alright. Excellent analogy!

So looks like Negri Shipped this one! I really have to say that I greatly appreciate gerbicks efforts to get everyone this phone. Hell I may want to do it just so i can have a backup of this gorgeous phone. It should be here tomorrow morning. hopefully.

I ordered a backup 64GB from Negri after you posted it cuz I'm nervous about the whymobile shipment. I think I may have a problem.

current rationalizations:

- it's a strategic purchase!

- it's my "put-away pair" (sneaker reference).
