Also, did you install the icon to launch the script??

if not, you could try run the script with: . ./scriptname (. space ./name)

Edit: Python fully installed? QT4 Python....

i have just falshed my N900(not emmc)
and now after doing all the stuff
faircrack does not launch from icon nor from xterm....

here is output

Tried changing it to the name of the current one. I'm lost. Can anyone help? I read this whole thread but didn't find an answer.

I am far behind all this stuff for the N900 I was on top when Kernel-power came out, flashing to overclock and all that, but I lost internet at my house shortly after and just kinda stop following this site, so here I am looking at older tech stuff lol.

Check to see if your PWD is the same as the deb file. If so maybe try appending `$PWD/' in front of the filename (without the quotes)

You need to have a wireless capable node (such as a laptop, or a cellphone with wireless capabilities, etc) to connect to your wireless network before you can obtain a handshake.

Remember, a house with locks on the doors will not open randomly to nobody.

In sted of waiting that long why dont you use the deauthentication commands to kick a client of the network and capture the handshake .... also you are never gunna crack a WPA2 on the n900
