I am having a problem with the format command mke2fs. I got OS2008 running smoothly so now I am trying to set up a dual boot using my 4gb internal memory card. Everything goes fine until I try to format the second partition using the following command -- mke2fs /dev/mmcblk0p2. I get this response "mke2fs not found". I have looked everywhere for this file but no luck. Anyone know where it is or where I can get it if it is missing?

apt-get install e2fsprogs

This has to be the problem, daaders. I tried to go right to the Dual Boot procedure yesterday after upgrading to 08. When executing the e2fsprogs command, I saw lots of lines where Linux was telling me something had not been installed. I'm going to try again when the servers cool down. Hoping that's tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice. Downloaded fast and installed without a hitch. Got past that step and proceeding.
