I just flashed my device with the latest firmware and try to use my Plantronics Bluetooth headphones and they work. Its sounds like crap but works with everything. Like menu clicks , mp3, videos.

Its not using the bluetooth A2DP profile because it really sounds bad. but it works some how. Seems like its using the mic/single cell phone profile. HT something.

My headest now work but sound crapping.

I just tested Skype and it works perfect with my Bluetooth headphones. I called my cell phoen using skype with my bluetooth headpheons and its perfect. Its clear with no breakup.

Thsi is great we can use our N800 using VOIP over Wifi with Bluetooth headphones/Mic........

Wahoo.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I bet we have full support for Bluetooth HFP and HSP profiles now.

I can turn on my headphones and they connect to the N800 without using the Bluetooth icon on the N800.... This is great

Well, my blueAnt V12 just stoped working it seems... it pairs up, connect and all, but the sounds doesn't route to it anymore like in did in 2008 beta... (just goes directly to the speakers)

Anyone else is getting this?

Would i have a conflict with something installed? :-(

EDIT: uhm, flashed again and now it works, i'll see if something kills it again on the way...

Any chance you installed the FM radio applet? I did this and it ate the bluetooth. I could not get the audio settings to appear again (could not see the little headset in the top - just the speaker) no matter what but I could connect to the headset. I had to de-install the FM radio applet and re-pair the headset to get it to work.

Same problems here. In fact I can get bluetooth to work, but only shortly. It is done by plugging in the regular headset, then pressing the toggle button on the FMradio applet that toggles between the headset and speakers and then pull the headset out. I don't know which of the two options should be set on the toggle button for this to work, but try it and you will find out. The resulting performance of the bluetooth headset is very poor (like in OS2008beta). I hope this gets fixed

Yeah, my BT headphones work, but it sounds like crap. We could sure use the A2DP support, eh?

Thanks, i'm trying this right now... we'll see how much more stable it gets :-)
How did you discover that side effect? I don't see any conflicting files in dpkg -L for the fmradio.

cheers!
