Just out of curiosity, does anyone use NITDroid all the time on their N900? Or is sort of just a novelty for most? Using Maemo mainly, and switching over to Android sometimes for a kick...

I've installed NITDroid before, and it worked great, but I never flashed it with the 8gb partition because I am a paranoid nutjob when it comes to my gadgets (yup, never flashed my N900. I totally don't belong here...). So I never really got to fully experience it, as there was no space for anything. I suddenly just got curious as to how others use NITDroid, so please - enlighten me!

So i turned the device off and on again ..
NOTHING HAPPENED .. just boot Maemo normally
So i downloaded and installed multiboot and boot again to find
THE GURU ERROR and i had to reflash my device every time

is there are any chances of corrupting sd card if i enable swap ? today morning i enabled swap memory in nitdroid by a app called Swapper2. swap is enabled and working now but i read a warning also that enabling swap can (or will) damage your sd card or can corrupt it. so is there are any risk of enabling it.

if you have installed nitdroid in emmc (internal storage) then remove sd card before booting in Nitdroid. this should help. if not ask an expert.

With the profile that I post here, I can play 720p in Nitdroid (I've just raised the voltages, using LV profile, according to 720p maemo post and raised the dsp to 600). The audio lags a bit, but the video is very smooth now
I think that to have 720p smooth in Nitdroid too, we have to integrate the kp49 patches in nitdroid kernel
You can try by yourself by overwriting the files (from Maemo) in /home/etc with these one (remember to cut .txt extension)

EDIT: Thanks to AWasisto for VDD warning, corrected the last profile by disabling VDD1 and VDD2
