Can anyone help??? - maemo.org

My N900,is the best,i just love it,and to me there is no other device i want,this does everything.

But for some reason i have lost my maemo widget,and access to maemo on my cell.

Its gone??,cant find it,can anyone help me get it back,the only thing done recently was downloaded two new themes,from maemo download list.

Any help would be great.

Just for clarity: You have not lost access to "maemo" on your phone, because what runs your phone is maemo.

I assume you haven't uninstalled anything and either you're talking about a shortcut on your desktop (not really a widget) to the maemo application installer (not HAM or FapMan), or you're looking for the OVI thingy that comes with a fresh install.

Either way, make a long finger press on an empty desktop space, choose Add shortcut from the Desktop menu in the top and add the lost shortcut. Presto.

Hey,thanks a lot,but there is no widget,shortcut anything listed,to reinstall.

Let's try and get a clear picture as to what it is that you have lost.

What was the function of the program / widget / whatever?

Where was it located?

On the second screen,of my N900,i had a "maemo" widget,it allowed access to maemo,its crazy,but its gone,and i want it back,and cant find it,Ha ha ha.I hope you understand.

he is talking about the default bookmark to maemo

edit the desktop and add the bookmark again

I have used my N900 for two years,mms text,email,calls,video,etc,never had to bother about any thing,i just use it.
this is the first thing that concerned me,and asked for help,as to the internal works,i am a novice.thanks.

a long press on the desktop and you will see desktop menu on the top
click on the DESKTOP MENU and than on ADD BOOKMARK
