I followed the instructions, but right off the bat it didn't work like in the vid. After download the small cssu app then installing it, then running the app from app manager, it did its long thing, but never rebooted at the end. After that nothing was different, even after I rebooted.
Then a little later I got a notification there was an update for cssu and a bunch of stuff below it which all started with libqtm. Tried updating cssu but it would always say I have to use nokia suite. HOW? I tried connecting it and running the suite, nothing ever happens. I tried running the update on phone while plugged in, but it just says the same thing and on nokia suite it doesn't even say I have any apps installed even though I have dozens. And in the details for all those updates it showed some conflict with libqtm something.
So I decided to unistall cssu. Well that really messed me up. It said it uninstalled cssu, so I rebooted and started all over. Same prob eventually, but now I can't uninstall cssu.
I had to restore to before I first tried to uninstall cssu, then in the problems section of the cssu update it said libqt4-test thing which I saw in another post, so I ran get-app in x terminal and it worked.
Just not sure why that little fix wasn't list in the faqs?
i suggest you reflash to have a clean uninstall of cssu (afterall, that is the only way).
as Nicolai mentioned, read the wiki.
when updating to the latest cssu and you encounter a problem where it says cannot update due to conflicting packages, just apt-get install that package and you'll be fine (make sure HAM is closed).
