We have a seperate domain, and some infrastructure is being set up as-needed, like bugzilla (bugs.nemomobile.org). My personal feeling is that I don't think seperate forums will happen, though: there's too many already, and right now, we don't have much of a userbase, so it would be a lot of tumbleweeds rolling around.

Of course, there is always a need to 'accelerate' - but moving to a ghost town won't really help that much :-)

Calls and messaging already work (for some value of work), but help is always needed, so you're welcome to come and help put effort in.

I agree that projects needs more visibility, and I don't think there is any problem with starting from empty forum which is dedicated to Nemo. So far this is all rather confusing even for those involved, imagine some newcomer, who wants to find out about it. Should he/she go to Meego wiki? To Meego forum, or may be to Maemo forum? What about Nemo wiki? Mer wiki? Should all of those be monitored for updates and interesting topics? Should the user first find out what Maemo is? Or may be Meego? The history of it all which led to emerging of Mer and Nemo? While I like history, not everyone has time to delve on all of this really.

Don't judge everyone by your experience, many people never even heard of Maemo or Meego, while they potentially can be interested in Nemo. So for the sake of simplicity and clarity, and for the sake of new users / project participants, I think making a separate site / forum etc. will definitely help even if the user base is very small at the moment.

As I said, infrastructure is coming, on an as-needed basis. If you read the meeting notes from today, it was decided to set a wiki up, so you'll see one of them pop up soon. If you'd like to volunteer to do wikiing, or an actual website, then come offer your assistance. Open source is about scratching your own itch, after all

To put things in perspective, there's ~70 people on #nemomobile (IRC). In terms of active developers, I'd probably number us around 5-7. That's not many. Of those, there's also probably not that many who visit forums often - I visit occasionally, when I remember... so you really wouldn't see much forum traffic from us, I think.

But again - if you'd like to see one, suggest it, set it up, run it. I'm the last person who's going to kill initiatives from other people - it's just that my priorities are different to yours
