Try using faster application manager for now.. also it would be a good idea to view the logs and find out where exactly is it failing. If you cannot access the logs, enable red pill mode for hildon application manager.

The standard application manager (HAM) isn't very good at telling you what's going on. Faster Application Manager (FAM) gives you a bit more feedback as well as a lot more control.

When you install stuff from Ovi, make sure the Nokia Applications and Nokia SSU catalogues are both listed and active in which ever application manager you choose to use.

...post back if persists. As mentioned above, include the logs.

well if the op cant download anything he probably wouldnt be able to get faster app manager without going to the package itself

that may not work either though if the dependacies arent installed. try to download something from the app manager again after it fails click the title bar choose log and post whatever it outputs

@kapil_j89
Do you have rootsh installed, or any other means of being 'root' user?
If so, type the following into the terminal
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get autoremove
apt-get autoclean
Where does that get you? If all ok, then try activating the repos mentioned above (Applications and SSU (Not CSSU)).
