Sorry, but I don't really understand what your sentence mean ...

Can you be more verbose about what you do exactly, and also what does your work be compared to kernel-power ?

Maybe he just doesn't know about existence of KP? If he is skilled kernel-coder, it would be good to convince him into submitting (real) patches to KP, instead of re-doing kp42 work.
