(only if you didn't have nano before, install nano)
apt-get install nano

nano /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/sysuid/style/sysuid.css

Scroll down untill you see:

Code:

locked-orientation: “portrait”

and change that to:

locked-orientation: “”

press CTRL+X
and press Enter so save it.
Now the lockscreen has been modified.

To modify the homescreen:

nano /usr/share/themes/base/meegotouch/meegotouchhome/style/meegotouchhome.css

Scroll down untill you see:

locked-orientation: “portrait”

and change that to:

locked-orientation: “”

press CTRL+X
and press Enter so save it.
Now the homescreen has been modified.

Reboot your phone to make the changes take effect
