Probably, it's not Open source - at least I was not able to find any info about that - so, if anyone want this program ported to N900, try bugging original developers. No other way.

JaxtaSMS available for all Major mobile platforms like iOS, BlackBerry, Android, Symbian, Java, Windows, Nokia. Why not Maemo 5?

Maemo 5 is hardly a "major mobile platform", atleast not anymore.

Estel pretty much summed it up, but I imagine the developers won't waste resources on developing a maemo 5 compatible client.

Considering how well the N9 is selling they might make one for Meego though.
