How much would one of you super awesome programmers charge to make a scrolling matrix background.

I tried both of the ones in the download section, but neither do.

    is it running fine now?
last time i tried live wallpaper it was rather choppy and constantly eating 30-40% of the cpu.

At least the matrix background is working
    great. 1-5 % cpu time ( and 0% while
    screen is off)

Yeah it's working fine. I don't know about cpu use though. All I know is last time I ran the cpu usage app, it would constantly go between like 10-30%, and I wasn't even doing anything. I should probably look into that.

How did you measure the cpu load?

edit: you were right. I didn't measured hildon-desktop
cpu load but only for the livewallpaper start app.

Anyway the cpu-load for hildon-desktop with active
livewallpaper is only about 15-18 %
(much higher than without livewallpaper (3-5%),
    but still less than 60-70%)

60-70% is what the "system info widget" is showing.

i just installed htop, and htop shows ~0% for hildon-desktop, barely anything.

how do you measure the cpu load?
