You might want to check from them that it is Australian stock, and not imported from another country.
Price seems like it'd be Australian stock, but often online retailers here will import from Asia, & sell for cheaper.
Hence the warranty support will be based in another country...

    It's just handy to know....

In case you have an issue & you mistakenly send it back to Australia, when you actually need to send it to another country!
Normally a clear indicator is that they'll have their own "special" 12th warranty...
But I'm not sure how they'd support you with that 12mth warranty, maybe they return to country of origin?
In fact I think some specialist importers do that, but in your case it might be best just to send direct to country of origin.

But this is all assuming they have imported, it may be Australian stock, in which case you return to Australia if there's a fault.
And if it's part of the retail warranty, they may help you with that, otherwise it's your responsibility to get it to Oz service centre.

Awesome. I'll call 2 ask about that warranty stuff. I think simplyelectronics is based in the US.... ? Idk, i'm a ways away from purchasing anyway. waiting for that price to dip below the $500 mark....

Huh, I thought they were based in Oz?

But if they also have a branch or two in the US then even better.

These guys might be good too? No idea though.

Just got off the phone with them, & they have a place based out of Boston, & if i had to send it in for warranty, that's where i would send it. They couldn't tell me where the stock was made though.
