Last time i had this problem of not seeing vids and music in the media player i used tracker-processes -r but...
This time i cant remember exactly what i did so i have some questions.

1: After putting in the tracker-processes -r and pressing enter is there anything else i do in terms of pressing more buttons?

2: after turning the device off do i have to take out my battery,sim card & memory card and for how long?

90% of the time i use the phone for music and videos and now i can only play them by clicking on (document app/file manager cant remember) which i got 3500 songs and 3000 videos and i miss how the videos showed pictures of themselfs like youtube and now this just blows.

I tried going to x-terminal typing in tracker-processes -r then restarting my device took out the battery,sim & mem card then turned it back on still no music or videos wtf?

It worked last time i used the tracker-processes -r now it isnt so im not sure if im doing it wrong or what.

help!

install Tracker-CFG and use it to reset & rebuild your database...

Now when you say rebuild my database hmm... Do i just wait tell it loads up all the vids/music on the media player or do i have to reinstall all the vid/music?

it will reset tracker & rebuilt tracker database from scratch...no need to reinstall all video/music....once you have reset & rebuilt database just open mediaplayer...it will update all media files just like usual....

I downloaded it and tried to install it but even tho it didnt install i can now see all my music & vids in the media player thanks a bunch.
