I've just uploaded a new version (0.7.1-1) that (hopefully) fixes the errors I found in your log file. It should be able here soon.

I'm not sure that the errors were responsible for Khweeteur taking ages to load. Can you describe what you mean by taking ages? Did the time line ever show? Once it was shown was it smooth?

it took about 5 mins to load up the tweets (Guessing it was because it was it's first use) and the progress/busy spinning icon continually keeps spinning as to say it's still working. tweets came up but then the problem with actually being able to tweet/reply came about. going to try new version now.

When you say load, do you mean download or load from disk?

It would be good to know if the tweet reply problem is now fixed.

download tweets (only for first time) and posting is now working can't look @ images friends have tweeted though, is this a fault or it's not been implemented yet?

cancel that last bit it was me not being used to the program. it's all working fine brilliant cheers neal

Downloading may take time if your connection is slow. I think the slowness is mostly network related, not inefficient code.

If there is a URL, you can press the URL button (bottom right) and it will load the url in the browser. Otherwise, I'm not sure what you mean (can tweets "contain" images?).

If you think Khweeteur works well, will you please consider voting for its inclusion in extras?

Khweeteur also uses Woodchuck for scheduling downloads. Please consider voting for promoting the current version in extras-testing to extras as well:
