I made a complete backup of my N900 before it went of to the shop to be repaired. So while my N900 is being repaired I've pulled out my Nokia N70 to use.

Ive tried to use Nokia suite to import the contacts from the N900 backup file into the N70 but its not working. Although the calendar worked.

Any suggestions how to get my contacts from the N900 backup file to the N70?

Simplest would have been to make the backup on the N900 itself and then copy to PC. These are just zipped files.
Which format do your bkp file have? nbu? Then consider NBU explorer, its a free program.

Or even simpler, export all contacts to CSV and reimport.

The file format is currently an nbu, i will give NBU explorer a try
