Thanks, had to mkdir from apt up!
Apt-get update & Apt-get purge ran through with no problem, power kernel de-installed
Hoping for a replacment handset, any model will do, sell it and buy another n900.

I need to clean down my n900 for warranty replacment as the USB is gone, therefore I cant reflash either!!
I only really want to remove the power kernel and reinstall stock befor sending back to nokia.

Any help much appreciated
