Hi i'm having trouble connecting wifi to a local internet cafe that uses mikrotik,
so basically they use mikrotik and we have to pay certain amount of cash to pay under certain hour... Then they will give a username & password which seems to be randomly generated..
Now when i tried connecting it using my laptop there's no problem,
so i thought maemo might have compatibility issues..
So what could be the problem? I'm completely noobs at this stuff.. thanks
Try connecting to any website with microb. If I understood you right microb should ask you the user name and password and then you can use the connection but only with microb. Some other applications might allow you to use user name and password too but you must input them again in their settings.

yes that's how i did it,
after i put in the username password, the login process was successful, saying "you are logged in"
But after that when i try to access any websites, the loading bar won't move, e.g only moving left & right...
And after that it will ask for username and password again
Works without no problems for me. Used it on my vaccation one week a go. There was a Mikrotik hotspot and I saved password in browser and after that I got a "logged in" page and everything including mail and sip worked well.
after login do not close the login window....open new window on microB then try open any website...it should work...just remember never to closed the login window while your still online...
I was able to logged in once,
but after that i wasn't able to log in again,
it's as if the router does not respond.
When i try it with PC there was no problem
Strange but that may be something with the MK that it blocks you.. I would try restarting my phone and try again and if that fails I don't think it's your phone that's the problem. Run wireshark and check the traffic.
