Not sure if this is an trouble-shooting or upgrading issue.

Just put the latest firmware on my 810, The paid license GPS is working fine but I can't download any new applications like the gmail monitor, it just says "Download failed".

I re-flashed my unit with the same results. Are the Nokia servers still that flooded with people updating or is something glitched in my 810?

It's not anything you have done mate. The repositories have been up and down for the past couple of days. I tried last night, around midnight and everything was working fine. Tried again this afternoon, and they were down again. We'll just need to bide our time till they are working properly again.

I've been trying to download some apps and keep getting corrupt file messages. I hope this is a result of the repository problem as well?

yes the repositories are useless at the moment .... grrrr, no luck installing just the simply Python runtime.
