I've been wondering for a while, will USB tethering be implemented for the N9 in a future firmware update?

EDIT: *facepalm* Clearly, I'm a noob. For some reason, I didn't notice the N9 USB modem in my list of devices.

Actually I use a Mac and don't see any option for USB tethering with my N9, any help on this?

P.S. It worked so easy for my N900, showed up as network devices and all I had to do was input some easy settings.

IIRC it's a feature in Nokia Suite...
Alas Nokia Suite isn't available in OSX
Unless you use Parallels or Fuse.
Great visualization sw which I use regularly.

Also with the latest NS update Nokia's removed N9 support.
You have to basically stop it from checking for updates
There's a big thread at beta labs that's livid about the situation.

You can make latest Nokia Suite work with N9 following the link below and have usb tethering through it.

    ^ Yep, that's doco'd here:
    N9/x0: share how-to's/fixes/mods/apps/other
But as I said watch out for the very latest NS updates, they disable N9 compatibility.
That post doesn't talk about tethering, but it's around that spot that it's confirmed IIRC.

On Ubuntu 11.04, just plug N9 to usb and select your carrier... Easy.

I use PC Suite 7.1.62.1. Just connect your N9 to your PC using sync and connect mode and click connect to internet in the PC Suite Menu. That's it!
