I tried to reboot the router and managed to get apt-get update function, but still when I type apt-get install community-ssu-enabler

It says that it is installed

Another update fails with the previous problem and when I type apt-get install mp-fremantle-community-pr as you said it says:

Code:
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
mp-fremantle-community-pr: Depends: gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-extra (>= 0.10.14-git266-0maemo10+0cssu6) but it is not going to be installed
E: Broken packages
Another connection problem?

I tried to open this link from phone but when I pressed to download file it just said after some waiting "Couldn`t find page"

But! When I download the same file from the PC and transfer it to phone it installs normally. Maybe can I update CSSU from PC?

I`m so starting to hate this N900...

...tried updating the router firmware? Don't blame the N900 for a flaky connection on your side.

Glad to read you made some progress...
As michaaa62 and don_falcone said earlier, could be your connection
Maybe OT but you can test it here with your N900.
I just had 4.96 Mbps download & 2.12 Mbps upload speed.

After installing the enabler you need to update the package list again, because of the newly added repository.
Could you get internet via Wifi-Adhoc from your PC or via GSM?

I've just tested the connection from n900 and it said 6.84Mb download and 0.51Mb upload speed. Seems that it is all right, and that is it - I don't have any issues during web browsing/watching videos it's fine. BUT! When it goes down to working with apps it just start to act real strange...

I'm not giving up I know that one day my n900 will shine...
And I'm really grateful for all the help you give me

I have a question - As I finally got access to root, can I do any useful there to solve the problem? I mean beside "apt-get" commands

yeah, I understood that, currently I'm at the point where I supposed to update maemo community ssu from update category in app manager, but I just can't proceed because it says I need to use PC to update, but this statement is false and I need to free rootfs space but it's free enought (98/227Mb) which means the problem is somewhere else..

I'm using wifi connection through the home router. PC is connected wiredly and n900 through wifi. Ad-hoc I suppose.. as it serves as access point..

There's an app called CleaN900, here's a thread about it.
All the command are there if scroll a little down (6th image) the first post.

To update CSSU i once used X-terminal with
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
Everything was fine but i got the message (see also next page) not to do that and use HAM or FAM
so the last update I used HAM, no problem at all.
Here's the thread about the Testing version

I tried to install it (As I previously explained I had to save .deb file first and then send it to n900 because n900 can't open the link leading to the file) it said I need zenity package to do it. So I downloaded this zenity thing and during an installation it said: "Incompatible application package". but anyway..

Also, after some more useless trying to update the catalogues I understood that the problem is that it can't connect to repositories and it causes all the mentioned problems.

Am I right here?
