Or is it possible to use another kernel with OS2008? Maybe I could flash everything of the offical release and just use another zImage file?
I'm not that fit in those things, is there anyone who knows more about that?

Question: Where did you get the error code? Is there a wizard log?

This is what flasher-3.0 showed me in an Linux-Terminal while flashing.
But I'm not sure if 0x50 is an error code. Maybe it's just a command the flasher tries to send to my N800?

I just uploaded the zImage file, that I'm trying to flash. I'm very sure that there's no file corruption but maybe someone could compare it to his or so...
Here's a link to the file

Mmhhh, it seems that nobody has an idea and that I'm the only one with this problems. Maybe I should send the N800 to Nokia.

I'm a non tech with the same problem. I think the best thing to do is wait about a week for everything to get cleared up.

So really nobody has a soultion or tested my kernelimage with his n800? Maybe it would be the best to send my device to the nokia service. Maybe a cold-flash or something like that could help.

I've found resolution for this problem with flashing initfs. Just a little out of space here. So i have rebuilt initfs image and it flashed successfully without any errors. Result filesize is about 1,5 mb instead of 2 mb in OS2008 image.

ps maybe issue with kernel image have same source...
pps sorry for my bad english
