I don't know if this is the right place for such an inquiry, but I came across a few threads that seem related. I'm working on a project and one piece of it involves a pretty straightforward concept but we don't have someone of the skill-set/caliber to do it!

We need a small unit that will feed compass data from 2 locations on the body (head and hip, let's say) via bluetooth to a mobile device or a laptop. The data would simply need to be fed into our application, where it can be analyzed.

Basically, we're looking for someone to do the prototype what we need and go from there.

We believe this first step should be quite simple, but we don't have a specialist for it. Again, not sure if this is the best place for this inquiry, so any help in pointing us in the right direction is appreciated!

Are you using a Maemo device? i.e. Nokia 700, N8x0, N900 or N9? If so, try posting on the developers' board. If not, perhaps it's worth hunting down a forum for the OS you will be using?

As far as your request is concerned, look through the repositories. There may be some OSS that does something similar or that you can take apart and reassemble for your needs. Be sure to respect the associated licence(s). I know there are GPS data loggers.

On the other hand, if you're essentially posting a job/contract advert - probably best to rename your thread. Not even sure they're allowed on TMO.
