CUE is a location based reminder application for Nokia phones. CUE helps you to remind you of "things to do" you need to do based on your current location. Did you forget to pick something up on your last trip to the market? Just set a reminder, and the next time you're near the market, CUE will remind you that you need to stop there, and why!

It uses cellid based positioning to reduce power consumption. Here's a short demo video http://youtu.be/-7b8A9bg-RE

    Maemo extras repository link

    Pre-requisites:
    • PR 1.3
    • Qt Mobility 1.2

    Known issues:
    • Problems reported with CSSU

    Features
    • Choose current location
    • Select location from map
    • Search location using address
    • Specify a command to execute
    • Cache cellid info so that in normal usage no network connection is necessary.

...but for any reason it closes the window before the UI shows up. (window opens without buttons etc. and then just coses)

ist there something else i should install?
what can i do to give you more detailed information?

Thanks for this new application, let me suggest you, however, to upload it to the repositories so it will be more accessible to other users.

That's weird. Couple of things you should check:
    - you are running PR1.3 (I updated the original post)
    - Install the new version.
    - Run it from xterm and capture the logs.
    Code:
    /opt/Proxumusui/bin/Proximusui
    Thanks.

Thanks for your feedback. The software is initial version - a quick weekend hack. Once it's stable and there's enough usage in the community, I'll think about uploading it to extras.

Not sure about CSSU but I do have power kernel installed. More importantly, why do you think it won't work?

i've installed the new version but in Terminal it says:
    Code:
/opt/ProximusUI/bin/ProximusUI: error while loading shared libraries: libQtOrganizer.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

if thats true, it's the reason it doesn't work for me. I have installed latest CSSU and kernel-power-49.
