Hello,

I have followed the documentation at http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...K_Installation and successfully completed all the steps till starting the framework. I got no problems or errors with all the steps. When I try to run, I get this:

Hi,

You wrote that you completed all the steps without error. This may be correct. A lot of people's issues with this have been down to thinking they've ran all the steps correctly whilst either: missing a key step or making a subtle change or omission on a key step.

Not saying that this applies to you, but it is something to consider.

What OS, version, environment are you trying to set this up in? You may be having a known issue.

Have you tried uninstalling scratchbox and running the install again from the top?

I am running Ubuntu 10.04 x86_64.

I have followed the steps for the Debian x86_64 systems.

No, I did not try to uninstall scratchbox and reinstalling it. Can you tell me how to do that?

Thank you for your reply.

I've been able to do this fine in the past, so I would recommend giving it a second attempt.

When you said that all went fine before, does that include the setup of the nokia binaries in both ARMEL and X86 targets?

64bit can be awkward about the VDSO settings etc but it doesn't look like that is your issue.

Also what is your kernel version? uname -a

Before running this make sure that /scratchbox is the correct directory and you didn't set it up elsewhere.

$ /scratchbox/sbin/sbox_ctl stop
$ apt-get remove scratchbox-* --purge
$ rm -rf /scratchbox

The nokia binaries setup did not give any errors with both targets.

My kernel version is 2.6.32-24-generic.

I will try removing scratchbox and install it again.

Thank you for your help.

If you set it up like described there:
http://wiki.maemo.org/Documentation/...ased_Installer

Make sure you did both steps in 12.2! All of the commands need to be executed!
