I've been testing severeal builds of meego, and I'm not a developer.

I've tested also Nemo, built on Mer, based on Meego (maybe a fork).

All of the unstable / incomplete...

Is there a build or release that can be used?

I mean, they said that there would be releases of Meego for N900, that would include the closed source components.

Is there any of them?

meego is dead. the Nemo project based on Mer is a continuation of the MeeGo community edition for n900 project not a fork.

If you're looking for commercial grade replacement OS to your n900, you're not going to find one.

OK, so... stuck to Maemo, then.

Thanks. I just tested 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 and no way...

And Nemo, too, but no, no way...

I resist to resign to the telephony and mobile data part of my N900. Because then I would switch to a tablet with better screen, faster processor and more memory, and get a N8, to get a decent camera and the part of mobile data.
