How do I do that? I need to watch a movie but the light eventually goes off... that's a problem.. .how do I prevent that. I checked out the settings in the control panel... for display but they don't allow me to keep the light on.

go to settings > Control Panel > display and change the sleep and dim time or make it always on in the pull down - remember to change it back

What movie player are you using? I've never had my display go dim with the built-in movie player. I would test Mplayer but the current testing version with OS2008 is unwatchable due to audio skipping issues. (I understand it is the AC3 audio stream output by the Nokia Video Converter)
