Michaaa62's post refers to this deb:
    NITDroid-Installer_0.2.8-9beta3.deb
    http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=3799
    Please read the postings!

You have NITDroid-Installer_0.2.8-8.deb from first post, which seems to have different folders for installation and that's why you get the error.

Basically you try to execute the latest installer script per hand with an older nitdroid-installer version.

hello guise, sorry to barge in unannounced, I've been trying to install Nitdroid too and I've been following the steps given to tyger so far :P nevertheless I got stuck on the "opt" part too.

I do have the right file though, the error that pops up is the following:

cp: cannot create '/and/system/app/': path does not exist

so... should I create the folder or... ???? or what? :S
