open terminal and run this command
Code:
run-standalone.sh dbus-send --system --type=method_call --print-reply --dest=com.nokia.phone.SIM /com/nokia/phone/SIM/security Phone.Sim.Security.get_imei|awk -F "\"" '/g/ {print $2}'
the command is just one line, make sure you type it correctly fyi there's a space before --print-reply another space before /SIM/ and one more before $2}

There are several ways to find the IMEI number (15 digits) of your phone, for instance:
Dial *#06# (works for most of Nokia phones).
See the label on the back cover (for phones with non-removable battery).
Remove the back cover and battery, and see the label on the battery holder (for phones with removable battery).
See the label on the sales package box.

On the "Settings" application, the IMEI is shown. The same with HealthCheck and Clean900. The "*#06#" worked fine on my N900.

It's impossible to lose imei number , this is like forgetting your own name , unless you have alzheimer .

You cannot get the imei with the *#06# maybe because you screwed something at OS , try to reflash .

This happened to me once. It's possible you flashed a FIASCO image that was not compatible with your VANILLA image.

What files did you flash?
