I'm having a problem sending email. My ISP is Virgin Media (formerly NTL) and I use my Virgin/NTL POP email account on my n800.
Recently I've been unable to send email from this account unless I connect to the internet via the Virgin Media connection at home. So if I connect via wifi elsewhere, or using my mobile phone, I can only recieve messages, not send them.
It appears, from their website, that Virgin has started using authentication. I've tried changing the SMTP settings on the n800 but to no avail.
Many ISPs restrict access to their SMTP server so that you can only access it while you're using that ISP. Virgin specifically requires authentication in this scenario:

Any ideas?
Thanks.
