I think you may have got confused here. 1.2 is the features update, 1.3 is a minor bug fix release

MeeGo itself is Harmattan..

PR1, PR1.1, PR1.2, PR1.3 are just Public Releases/ updates

Meltemi is a rumoured replacement for S40 that we definitely dont want on our N9's

i was not referring to it as PR 1.2 or 1.3

Meego 1.0 - Arlington(Asus EeePC 901, Toshiba NB302, Lenovo S10 and many others)
Meego 1.1 - Irvine (N900)
Meego 1.2 - Newark aka Harmattan

i was wondering if Meltemi will be another meego distribution

I can't recall where I read now, they did say it themselves at one point though.
It won't be anywhere near as big as 1.2 as far as feature-adds go.
But they did say it'd have slightly more emphasis on feature-adds than is typical for a even-numbered release.
Now of course that's open to interpretation, & doesn't necessarily mean much.
I doubt all the enhancement requests will necessarily transfer over to Meltemi.

I doubt it....
Meltemi will be for entirely different devices (low-end).

Nokia N9 is a low end in every aspect. Specs, software and mobile vendor! Meltemi would be perfect for N9.

Specwise it could be considered middle end softwarewise it's a jewell nothing else on the market comes close to it. Not android, not iOS and definitelly not WP

True. They are stronger, faster and easier to operate in your daily life.let's hope pr 1.2 will give you a decent smartphone. Too bad we don't have pr's for the design as well.
