    Description
Nokia N9 when used in US doesn't allow wifi hotspot sharing by default. As titled, this is a very simple utility to facilitate users enable/disable wifi hotspot sharing through a GUI interface. The issue and solution is described in more details in this webpage.
Why I created this if the issue can be solved by launching terminal? Well, I don't feel users should ever need to enable developer mode to get something fixed/worked-around.

    Status
0.0.3 is available at Nokia Store.

    Feedback Welcomed!
    Two things in particular:
    1) Could someone with device that has never have developer mode enabled kindly test the app for me and see if it still works?
    2) Currently the app restores the allow_adhoc setting when it's closed. Do you like this behavior, or prefer the app does nothing when closed?

If you prefer always-allowed WiFi hotspot capability, you can try "ad-hac" by itsnotabigtruck.

Seems to work in PR 1.2, can't test the DEV thing since I installed in Pr 1.1 (not enabled).

I'd prefer on open if it enables and stays enabled even after close.

Works Great! I'm still a little confused on why its blocked in the US when Jokuispot worked just fine on my N900, but thank you for getting it back. I'm on Tmobile USA on PR 1.2 with a Finnish black 64GB model. It tethered just fine with my iPad! This also may not be important but the Store says I downloaded version 0.0.3, but the About page in the app says version 0.0.2.

One weird quirk I've discovered is after you use this app, you can't search for broadcasting Wifi networks. I've shut the app and hotspot down, but it still doesn't show my usual home network.

Might be due to your location? It's only available for North America that means US and Canada.

Thanks for reporting, yeah the version number is definitely wrong...
As for this quirk you mentioned, yes I found I have it too on my device. I don't know why and honestly I don't think this is caused by the app. But I will ask around to see if this behavior also exists for non-US users...
