I know of no change on Google latitude... but I'll try to revive my broken N900 and give it a try. I'm still waiting to know if my broken USB port is covered under warranty in the opinion of the store where I bought it (I know my and Nokias opinoin)

Tried uninstall / reinstall, uninstalling removing all dependencies by apt-get autoremove --purge zaploc and reinstalling, but no change.
I'm getting the same problem as this. If I bring up the task switcher I can see a window close animation - which I can only guess was supposed to be the browser window that ZapLoc is trying to start up to do the auth. Is there any way to resolve/debug this?

    hello guys,
i try using zaploc 0.9.5-5 (from extras-testing) on my n900 (most of the packages on my n900 are from the stable-repos).
when i start the app, the auth-dialog appears. in case i select the google-latitude auth, just nothing happens (also no auth!). when i select auth of foursquare, gowalla or facebook, the dialog "authorizing zaploc with ..." appears but hangs and the console output is:

    Exception in thread Thread-9:
    Traceback (most recent call last):
    File "/usr/lib/python2.5/threading.py", line 486, in __bootstrap_inner
    self.run()
File "/opt/zaploc/app/zaploc.py", line 685, in run
File "/opt/zaploc/app/zfoursquare.py", line 60, in authorize
NameError: global name 'options' is not defined

how can i make this work?
(i already tried removing the /home/user/.zaploc directory which didn't help.)

I was thinking about something as zaploc-daemon.py --update.
So i could run in network scripts to update every time it connects to the network.
this is probably the best nick i've seen in a loooong time! congrats...

Zaploc does not update google latitude for a few days. Here is error message from zaploc-daemon:
    Code:
    10:11:37: Latitude update LAT,LONG (acc 62.9)
10:11:37: Connection is up - Good!
    10:11:39: Error updating location <class 'apiclient.oauth.CredentialsInvalidError'>
    10:11:39: Sleeping... Zzzzz
I've tried to remove /home/use/.zaploc dir and re-authorize zaploc in google latitude but it did not help. Browser shows page
    "Not Found
    Error 404"
    in authorization attempt.

oh... that explains a lot. I had switched off updating when leaving on holiday (roaming costs) and was wondering why it refused to update when I enabled it again.

    Google api change?
