Yes I did that before and it worked for me. I've noticed a potential downside though. The store doesn't seem to recognize what apps I've bought before. For example Cute Tube has a "buy" button instead of "Download" even though I've bought that app before.
This may not be a problem with recreating your Nokia account. I've never deleted my account and I have problems with a few apps not recognizing that I've bought them before. Not all but some of them. I contacted Nokia store with my email proof of payment and instead of restoring my status they sent me a questionnaire with 10 detailed questions. Sheeesh!
Hi!
Did you try to install a version from Nokia Store or our beta?
Thanks,
Aleksandra
I installed the version in Nokia Store.
But, I've fixed the prob.
It was real easy.
Just select that you're not the original user lol and the user name is still the same only the number was different.
So, prob solved
ebuddy... what is this, 2006?
how about that whatsapp?
Don't knock it till you at least try it....
It's actually not bad, finds quite few people, not as many as Whatsapp but the latter's a hack, not official.
Functionality wise it's just a capable in iOS/Android, perhaps more.
Symbian^3/Maemo6x versions need one more major update (should be soon) before they're at parity.
eBuddy may be as good as Whatsapp but the problem is that few of your buddies use it. Whatsapp is still King of the Hill in terms of popularity.
The problem is not so critical with video calls because you usually only do video calls with your loved ones and it is not a problem to persuade them to install GTalk.
So like it or not, Whatsapp is still very much desired for N9. Official or not, who cares? But this is not to discourage eBuddy developer. More options is always a good thing.
