I pm'ed the mods about one of my threads missing, the 'Attention U.S. N9 owners: wifi hotspot crippled" is also missing, one of my colleagues tried to findi it when he bought an N9, here was the original url:
I did not receive any response from the mods though, so methinks it is gone for good. Too bad, had the fix for it, but still on the MeeGo forum though, so at least not lost, but not on this forum anymore.
I have received two PMs about missing threads. There were some minor corruption on the database this afternoon which was causing the database to slow down and I had to fix them which probably caused the problem.
If you happen to have the direct link to a thread that's missing, please post it here. I'll see If I can restore them from backup, though I can't promise I can restore them.

Can we assume that nothing was recoverable, what happened?
