    Before doing that, I suggest using someone elses wifi, a friends, someone who might have a faster connection and testing it out on your N800.

    I also got my N800 3 days ago from CC and upgraded the to OS 2008 right away so didnt try the OS 2007 browser. I also notice that at times loading example this site on the N800 can take quite a long time and sometimes it like freezes then will finally let me click or scroll down. Is this happening to anyone else? I have installed a 512MB card inside by the battery and a 1GB Card on the outside and don't have VM turned on. I did have set VM to 128MB but turned it off because I thought this was the problem. Any N800 Pro's out there know what they can recommend to do to improve speed.

    You might want to try disabling images and/or javascript, or just try the "links" web browser

    links is lightweight, very fast, but no support for CSS, Flash, animated gifs, etc.

    It's definitely my favorite browser for sites that don't need all that other stuff.
